Even the simplest tasks can feel draining but you keep pushing forward because that is what everyone expects from you. What to Expect in Individual Therapy?
In our one-on-one sessions, I will help you explore the patterns, thoughts and emotions that may be impacting your mental well-being and keeping you feeling overwhelmed or disconnected. Together, we will work to understand where those patterns come from and how to shift them in ways that feel realistic and empowering. We will challenge negative thoughts and self-talk and replace them with healthier, more empowering ways of thinking that support your growth and well-being. Through therapy, you can gain a deeper understanding of yourself, develop healthier strategies for overcoming challenges, and make meaningful change in your life.
Individual therapy can focus on a wide range of issues from everyday stressors to more serious mental health concerns. In therapy, I help women learn to identify what they are feeling and finally say it out loud. When you can name what’s going on inside, you can begin to understand it, work through it and move toward real change. Therapy helps you develop strategies to manage anxiety, depression, life changes and other challenges.
My goal is for you to be able to take control of your own mental health to create a more fulfilling, balanced life with a calm mind. I believe that every woman deserves to live a life that is connected and meaningful.
Why Therapy with Women?
I love working with women one-on-one because I see the strength they carry every day, often while silently navigating anxiety, burnout, or sadness that no one else sees. I know what it is like to feel responsible for everyone else in your life regardless of what is going on with you personally. We live in a society that expects women to keep going and hold it all together no matter what. Unfortunately, life does not have a pause button where we can lay it all down and forget about it for a while. One-on-one therapy is a time to slow down, feel understood and devote time to your own self care. It is only when you take time for your own mental health needs and well-being that you can fully be present for others in your life.
